What you may have missed this weekend:
- Austrian skydiver, Felix Baumgartner, broke the world record for highest and fastest skydive, free-falling from 24 miles above the Earth.
- This week, the pre-trial hearings are beginning for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind behind the September 11th attacks, as well as for four other alleged al Qaeda conspirators. Mohammed has been kept at the Guantanamo Bay US Naval Base since 2006.
- Tomorrow night’s town-hall formatted debate is to be hosted by CNN’s Candy Crowley, the first woman to host a presidential debate in over two decades.
- A 45-0 win against the Illinois Fighting-Illini this weekend gives the Wolverines great momentum coming into the big rivalry game this Saturday against MSU. The Spartans, on the other hand, lack such momentum due to their narrow loss to the Hawkeyes this past weekend.
