Some things that happened over the weekend:

  • Obama’s promise to double American exports in five years is actually on track.
  • The Giants will be joining the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI after Raven’s kicker blew the game.
  • After his loss in South Calolina, Mitt Romney agrees to release his 2011 tax returns as the race moves on to Florida.
  • The beloved R&B singer, Etta James passed away on Friday.
  • Fierce blackouts by Internet sites have delayed further action on SOPA and PIPA.
  • After 12 people have been reported dead from the cruise ship tragedy, the search has been suspended.
  • Joe Paterno has certainly left a legacy, but how will he be remembered?
  • Facebook may be taking it too far. New apps may reveal even more of our personal lives.
  • Our favorite and possibly oldest dog, ChiChi, finally made it to doggy heaven.
