Researchers from the National Institutes of Health have found that less than an hour of cell phone use can speed up brain activity in the area closest to the phone antenna. This discovery raises new questions about the health effects of low levels of radiation emitted from cell phones.
It is disconcerting to consider the unknown affects that everyday technology has on the human body. In case any one was wondering, a study at the Cleveland Clinic even found that keeping a cell phone on talk mode in a pocket can decrease sperm quality.
Technology is not a stagnant industry. It is constantly growing and developing. However, it is important to take a breather and consider what the affects of technology are on both the human body and on the earth. Research is only beginning to delve into this realm. The affects of cell phone radiation on the brain may be harmless. However, without sufficient research, “harmless” technology can never be taken for granted.

interesting, but how can you produce harmless technology? If all cell phones emit radiation, then won’t they all be harmful?
